Welcome to the developer documentation for the jQuery Google Maps Plugin! The Google Maps jQuery Plugin lets you simply embed Google Maps using The Google Maps JavaScript API in your web pages. To useThe Google Maps JavaScript API, you need to first sign up for an API key. Once you've received an API key, you can develop a map application following the instructions in this documentation.

Why Should You Use The Google Maps jQuery Plugin?

While you can use the original Google Maps JavaScript API to do what you need. This plugin attempts to simplify the process to adding maps to a page.

Not all portions of the original API were carried over into this plugin, some portions are considered a work in progress, other portions are considered unknown to the developer at this time. If you know of a feature that is not working or does not exist, by all means contact the developer or ask on the Google Maps JQuery Plugin Discussion Forums.

I an not affiliated with Google and this is a personal project to simplify the usage of Google Maps API.

Google Maps jQuery plugin that carries over many of the different features that the Google Maps API offers in jQuery form. The goal of this plugin was to make a quick and easy way for someone to implement a Google Map on their page with minimal to intermediate experience.
